UVANTA Healthcare supports our UVANTA LTC Pharmacies with group buying power, operation economies of scale and business management expertise that would otherwise not be available to an independent pharmacist. Steve-Marcus

Steve Marcus, R. Ph., MBA

President

Steve serves as president of UVANTA Healthcare. Steve earned his BS, Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and built his career on many of the lessons learned as co-owner of an independent retail pharmacy. After earning his MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, Steve sold his pharmacy and began the second phase of his career in management of Long Term Care Pharmacies including leadership positions with several leading national and regional Healthcare organizations. Immediately prior to joining UVANTA he was the president of a Chicago based independent Long Term Care pharmacy provider with multi-state operations.

Steve’s values attracted him to UVANTA Healthcare’s pharmacy model that fit with his experience developing, operating and leading other successful LTC pharmacies. In the UVANTA LTC Pharmacy model, locally owned and operated LTC Pharmacies offer the highest level of personal and professional care to their client facilities, while being backed by the strength, resources and efficiencies offered by a large pharmacy provider with national reach and leverage.

In his spare time, Steve gives back to the community as an active board member and volunteer for the Children’s Service Society of Wisconsin, audit committee member for Children’s Hospital and Health System of Wisconsin, past founding Board member of the Wisconsin MDA Black and Blue Ball and the ALS Southeastern Wisconsin Chapters Evening of Hope. Steve is devoted to his extended family and enjoys spending time with his wife, two dogs and friends in his hometown of Milwaukee and at his cottage in Northern Wisconsin.

Keith-Propson

Keith Propson, CPA

Vice President of Finance

Keith serves as VP of Finance for UVANTA Healthcare. Keith earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh and subsequently earned his Certified Public Accountant licensure. He began his career with a regional public accounting firm working with entrepreneurs and specializing in new business start-ups.. Prior to joining UVANTA Healthcare Keith was a corporate finance executive in the telecommunications industry for a company with multiple business units and over 400 employees.

Keith’s career experience makes him uniquely suited for his role serving two distinct groups of UVANTA Healthcare stakeholders. Keith provides the UVANTA Healthcare management and owners with strategic financial information and decision support tools. Keith and his finance team also provide each UVANTA LTC Pharmacy owner the financial services support they need to achieve financial success while building sustainable businesses.

In his spare time Keith serves his family and the community as a Scout leader and Church Youth Group facilitator.

Lori-Miller

Lori Miller

Director of Human Solutions Administration

Lori brings a wide range of corporate and entrepreneurial experience to UVANTA Healthcare. Prior to joining UVANTA Healthcare, Lori worked for a health care provider where she directed all phases of internal accounting and administration, advertising and marketing and employee recruitment and retention efforts.

In addition, Lori owned and operated two service businesses, giving her personal experience with successfully meeting many of the same challenges faced by UVANTA LTC Pharmacy entrepreneurs.

As Director of Human Solutions Administration, Lori assists our LTC Pharmacy owners with a wide range of employee relations and consulting services including payroll and HR, as well as sales, marketing and business administration. 

In her spare time Lori loves to run, garden, create beaded jewelry and crochet. She also enjoys time on the water with her husband and entertaining family and friends at their cottage in Northern Wisconsin.

Kurt-Kramer

Kurt Kramer

Accounting Manager

Kurt serves as the Accounting Manager at UVANTA Healthcare. Kurt earned his B.S. degree from The University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration. Immediately prior to joining UVANTA, Kurt managed the accounting department for a regional automobile dealer with multiple locations.

Kurt has broad based accounting experience in fast paced, regulated, customer driven industries, giving him unique insight to the needs of UVANTA LTC Pharmacy owners. Kurt works directly with our LTC Pharmacy owners providing accounting services,
financial analysis, and reconciliation of pharmacy cash balances. Kurt serves at the system support person for Accpac and handles all setups and training.

When not working, Kurt likes to spend time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys playing basketball, running, softball and anything that involves the outdoors.

Nancy-Nowak

Nancy Nowak

Accounting Associate

Nancy is a key member of the accounting staff at UVANTA Healthcare. Nancy earned a Diploma/A.A.S. in Accounting/Supervisory Management from Fox Valley Technical College. Before joining UVANTA Healthcare, Nancy enjoyed a career in the accounting department for a national financial services organization.

Nancy primarily serves our UVANTA LTC Pharmacy entrepreneurs by providing accounts payable and other client record keeping services. She maintains asset ledgers, monitors vendor compliance with purchasing contracts, and provides year end 1099 compliance reporting.

In her spare time Nancy likes to spend time with family and reading. She is active with her church and is a Cub Scout Den leader.
